September Astrology Forecast 2023
WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER!
I love this MONTH SO MUCH, IT MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE OF THE YEAR SO FAR!! AS YOU WILL READ THERE ARE SO MANY AUSPICIOUS TRANSITS HAPPENING FROM MOONS TO VENUS GOING DIRECT AND EVEN MERCURY RX HELPING US OUT BEFORE GOING DIRECT. THIS IS A MONTH FOR LETTING IN BLESSINGS, OPPORTUNITIES, AND CHANCES THAT MAY HAVE PASSED YOU BY BEFORE. WE ARE WISER AND HAVE NEW OUTLOOKS ON LIFE AFTER THE ENERGY OF THE SUMMER AND THIS NEW MORE MATURE CHAPTER LOOKS SO GOOD ON US ALREADY.
THIS MONTH REMINDS US that ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY AND GOOD THINGS CAN SOMETIMES TAKE TIME BUT THAT EXTRA TIME IS NOW. I RECOMMEND TAKING ALL THE RETROGRADE ENERGY THIS MONTH TO CONTINUE GETTING EVERYTHING TOGETHER BEHIND THE SCENES. CROSS EVERYTHING YOU CAN OFF YOUR LIST BEFORE STARTING NEW THINGS. YOU’LL FEEL BETTER AND MORE PREPARED FOR OCTOBER AND ECLIPSE SEASON IF YOU DO.

sEPTEMBER 3RD, 2023 - vENUS GOES DIRECT
On September 3rd, 2023 Venus goes direct at 12° Leo
After 40 days and 40 nights Venus is done with her retrograde cycle in Leo. While Venus is in shadow up until October 7th we still may feel the effects of what retrograde taught us and what it brought up.
This is a very auspicious time for integrating all of those changes and lessons and continuing to do the “re” work just moving forward. For example if Leo is in your 4th House and something broke in your kitchen during Venus Rx you might take this time to buy a new one and remodel a few more things.
Retrogrades are so helpful for showing us what isn’t working or what we need to take a deeper look at and bringing back things to be resolved so shadow period is just as important if not more for integration of that.
September 4th, 2023 – Jupiter Goes Retrograde
On September 4th, 2023 Jupiter goes retrograde at 15° Taurus.
Jupiter rx is yet again another auspicious cycle. Jupiter rx helps us go back and collect blessings, opportunities, and especially in the sign of Taurus financial chances we have missed or passed up the first time around whenever Taurus is in our chart.
Take this time to pay attention to what comes back around since Jupiter went direct and practice gratitude for aligned timing always having your back. Sometimes we see why we couldn’t have something until now or why an opportunity took a while to get back to us and what we learned along the way.
I find this to be a really magical and fun transit as Jupiter also rules higher frequency and philosophical thought.
September 14th, 2023 – New Moon In Virgo
On September 14th, 2023 we have a New Moon at 21° Virgo.
This is a great new moon! This moon is in a kite pattern with Neptune at the apex and the moon as the propeller.
Because of this configuration and the moon’s ruler Mercury retrograde in Virgo which is both its domicile and exaltation, again it’s a very auspicious time for paying attention to what new seeds are being planted.
It may take a while to see them flourish and grow but this is a moon to trust dreams are coming true. And also use your dreams while you’re sleeping to help you work out exactly how your soul wants to navigate this.
September 15th, 2023 – Mercury Goes Direct
On September 15th, 2023 Mercury goes direct at 8° Virgo.
The ruler of the New Moon, Mercury goes direct after the lunation.
Again we’re now in shadow phase and it’s time to continue to integrate all that Mercury Rx may have brought up.
You might receive some communication today or in the next few days you’ve been waiting on or see things progress where you have been hoping they will.
September 17th, 2023 – Venus Square Jupiter
On September 17th, 2023 Venus (at 15° Leo) squares Jupiter (at 15° Taurus).
This is the peak of this transit although we will feel it through September. Checking where this is happening in your own chart will be most helpful.
When Venus and Jupiter square off there is a bit of tension or something to work out between the two benefics. Jupiter is retrograding and expanding blessings, opportunities, and luck where you may have missed them before and Venus is encouraging love, beauty, money, and possessions where it was currently retrograding.
It’s almost as if the two are in a face off for who can bring you the most good and where so finding the common ground in this conversation is key to just accept all of it.
September 23rd, 2023 – Sun Enters Libra
On September 23rd, 2023 the Sun enters Libra. Happy birthday Libras!
And also Happy Autumn Equinox to everyone celebrating!
September 29th, 2023 – Full Moon In Aries
On September 29th, 2023 we have a Full Moon at 6° Aries.
This Full Moon, although not an eclipse like the one we had in April, is the first lunation in Aries since the nodes switched in July and Aries became the transit North Node with Libra as the South.
We may see a completion of this first initial cycle that started in the spring as well as a new layer to approach and integrate since the node switched in the summer.
Aries is about our own power, individuality, the I AM, whereas Libra is about others, the WE of it all. So this may be a moon where you are finding a new level to your independence and unique authenticity.
(This moon is happening directly on my personal Sun so I’m excited to see what comes forward on an individual note!)
With so much auspicious retrograde motions and/or shadow periods happening this is such a great month to go back and redo things, check over work, check in with past opportunities, recall or text that friend or love interest etc. It’s all themes we have encountered before or have been encountering so keep trusting each next step as the right thing. You have the to do list laid out for you now all you have to do is check it off. Enjoy!
