August 1st, 2023 – Full Moon In Aquarius
On August 1st, 2023 we have a Full Moon at 9° Aquarius. The Full Moon squares Jupiter in Taurus.
This moon is all about balancing the individual with the collective and the material/ traditional with the futuristic vision. While we are being asked to think beyond ourselves we’re also currently being encouraged energetically to celebrate our own gifts and talents more than ever. So how do we find the place of compromise between these different conversations?
We have to acknowledge that the ONLY way to make a difference in the world in the New Paradigm is not to just nurture ourselves or pour into our cups first it’s to celebrate ourselves, our individuality, and our creativity. Your passion project or just passion period IS the key to change.
August 8th, 2023 – Venus Conjunct Lilith And Square Uranus
On August 8th, 2023 Venus conjuncts Black Moon Lilith at 23° Leo and then squares Uranus at 22° Taurus.
Venus conjuncting Black Moon Lilith is a ROAR for the divine feminine and specifically in Leo that place that wants to be seen, heard, appreciated, and praised. Square Uranus there may be tension between the changing material landscape and our needs to be admired being met.
Pay attention to how this transit brings up what you REALLY want and can’t hold back on expressing any longer by repressing it.
August 13th, 2023 – Venus Conjunct Sun In Leo
On August 13th, 2023 Venus retrograde is conjunct Sun at 20° Leo.
This Venus cazimi (heart of the sun) is an important moment in Venus’ cycle and a nice day of the year period. This is when a new 584-day Venus cycle starts and we get a rebirth of the heart. In Leo, this is even more impactful as it is the sign that literally rules the heart.
This is a chance to start fresh and really listen to what your heart is trying to tell you.
August 16th, 2023 – New Moon In Leo
On August 16th, 2023, we have a powerful New Moon at 23° Leo.
The New Moon is conjunct Venus and Lilith. Another roar for Lilith and a POWERFUL AF moon for women and the feminine collective/feminine in all of us as three of the most powerful feminine archetypes (the moon-mother, venus-the lover, and lilith-the “whore”) come together.
Couple on top of this the fact it’s a 23-degree moon and 23 is the royal star of the lion in astro-numerology. This moon is sure to bring up potent themes both collectively and individually of what we deep down desire and can no longer hold in or be silent about.
August 23rd, 2023 – Mercury Goes Retrograde
On August 23rd, 2023, Mercury goes retrograde at 21° Virgo.
Virgo mercury rx is an opportunity to slowwww down, ground into your body, go back and revise or edit things that need attention and go over wherever Virgo falls in your chart with a fine tooth comb.
August 23rd, 2023 – Sun Enters Virgo
On August 23rd, 2023, Sun enters Virgo. Happy birthday Virgos!

August 27th, 2023 – Mars Enters Libra
On August 27th, 2023, Mars enters Libra.
Because the South Node is currently in Libra, I would not advise messing around with any Libras or Libra placements PERIOD when Mars the planet of drive, motivation, and aggression moves into usually peace-loving and keeping Libra.
Libras are releasing their people-pleasing, codependent, enmeshed ways even more with this transit. As a Libra moon, I can tell you we don’t really care all that much about making decisions on a lot, we’re usually genuinely happy to go along with what other people suggest or do….not right now. The opposite of Libra is Aries and every Libra is feeling that “do not mistake my kindness or go with the flow attitude for weakness” energy.
August 29th, 2023 – Uranus Goes Retrograde
On August 29th, 2023 Uranus stations retrograde at 23° Taurus.
When Uranus stations retrograde we feel this more collectively than anything else. Uranus is the planet of disruption and “chaos” so there’s no guessing what will happen and it’s pretty futile to even try to guess. The best you can do is just go with it and ride the waves of change as things get disrupted where they needed to be.
August 31st, 2023 – Full Moon In Pisces
On August 31st, 2023 we have a Full Moon at 7° Pisces. The Full Moon is conjunct Saturn at 3° Pisces.
It’s time to turn dreams into reality–the roundabout Pisces way. You might dream more deeply or vividly, receive visions, or bring more structure to your visions during this time.
With so much of the good kind of drama and action in August even though summer is ending we’re really just getting revved up. Use that energy to set you up and propel you into an autumn where you’re doing what you’ve always dreamed of and wanted to do. Enjoy!
